What to do for a puppy with swimmers legs?

We have a puppy with what we believe is swimmers. He has a hard time standing and walking. He does more scooting on his stomach to get around. He has been perfectly fine then this just happened one day. We can not afford to take him to the vet yet (we will on payday). He is 2 months old and a lab. Mom & dad not related & was walking fine for a while. Does anyone have a puppy with swimmers & know anything to do for him for the time being? Or does anyone have any ideas what we should do or could do for him? He wasn't hurt, didn't get into anything and hes not in pain. hes a very happy puppy and wags his tail all the time.
