34 weeks babys already 6lbs?

My ex's mother carried all 4 of her children 8 months, almost to the day. We had one son born 2 month premature, which if you factor in the hereditary 8 month factor wasn't as bad as it seems. And even that early he was almost 6 pounds. Dr.'s said he would have been at least 10 pounds if she had gone full term. Our Preme baby is now 6'4" and weighs about 200 pounds. They Dr.s never would listen to my ex about the her mother carrying only to 8 months. So yes, Dr.'s can be wrong and they don't for the most part like to listen to there patients.
