101st Air ault? Who goes and when?

I just got orders for Ft Campbell 101st. I was wondering does everone in that unit have to go Air ault? Or get a shot? And what if you don't p, do you stay in that unit? Also how does it work, do you start right when you get to your station or is it a few weeks in after you get settled? Any info would help. Also is there a book (like a smart book from bct) that I can start reading now to get prepared? Thanks so much
