How do I lose 30 pounds and keep it off?

I want to start yoga and any other morning workouts my university provides. With this information how should I go about losing thirty pounds... should I see a nutritionist or start eating premade meals. What is your experience with weight loss. FYI I am 5'2 and 140lbs trying to get down to 110lbs.
