Something i had thought of and wondered about?

At the moment our UK government is considering the organ donor issue, as many people are dying for want of a healthy organ. What i was wondering is if you have certain beliefs, say for example you are a vegan or don't eat a particular meat for religious reasons or like Jehovahs Witness won't have blood transfusions as i understand it, would you or indeed should you accept an organ from someone who had been a meat eater, and perhaps ate something your religion strictly forbade you to eat. After all food impacts on all parts of the body, liver, heart, etc and it was only after i answered a question about this thorny question on whether i would donate my organs or not i began to consider it.
