Newborn baby?

i have a 9 day old baby.a few days after she came home her umbilical cord had fallen off already.The doctor said it was fine just apply alcohol for about another 3 days.I did that and the navel looks like its closing but it still has a little pus and blood in it so i've still been putting a little alcohol on it and washing it with just water no soap.Can someone let me knoew if this sounds about right? Its also not red or swollen.PLEASE WRITE BACK ASAP. Also shes been really fussy the past few days.the first day her bm was kinda peanutery.then the next day she had a good regular one.Now today shes fussy again and hasnt had one yet. Could it be the milk?But she is eating well and is burping shes just ping gas but no bowel movement.PLEASE WRIT BACK WITH HELPFUL ADVICE THANK YOU.
