I'm thinking about buying a home in Gurnee, IL. Is that a good place to live? What is out there to do?

I want to move out of the city and home prices are reasonable out there for a nice house. How is the area? What would the resale value be in 10 -15 years? Are there good schools out there in case I have kids?
