Best MOS for Army Sniper school?

Hi all. Hopefully current or recently active can help me. I'm planning on enlisting, with the intention of graduating sniper school. The channel MOS I'm most interested in is 19D Cavalry Scout. However, I'd like to know that slots are readily available to this MOS, and once completed, where I'd be best utilized in the sniper role.
